You will discover basic skills using arts-based practices to facilitate groups and receive a tool-box of easy-to-lead activities. You will gain confidence in your own creativity and learn:

* How to use creative techniques to build group cohesion and enliven learning

* Ways to develop safe environments for authentic communication

* Techniques that inspire full participation

* How to weave theatre, story telling, creative writing, visual arts, music and movement into your program.

A two-day workshop training will be based on a unique approach to group facilitation. The model combines a deep understanding of group process with a keen awareness of the role creative expression plays in bringing individuals and groups alive. Inherent in the model is the belief that everyone is creative and you don't have to be a professional artist to use arts-based practices in working with adults and youth.
